Creating content that is unique and original can sometimes be hard. It seems that online, there’s content for everything and anything. Whether you’re starting out as a YouTuber, Blogger or any other creative artist there can be a few ways to help you find your niche. Here are 10 ideas for creating original content:

 

1. Run wild:

Rather than sitting there trying to think about content, just stop and let your mind naturally run free. Lie in bed and take not of what your mind is thinking? When you allow things to come naturally, the content will be much better.

 

2. Take other people’s ideas:

NO! I definitely don’t mean copy, steal or plagiarise someone’s work, I mean use it as inspiration. Creating original content these day can be hard because it seems it’s all been done, but seeing how someone edit’s their videos, or writes their blogs can give you a starting point for your own content. It’s also a good way to make sure there are no crossovers.

 

3. Get personal:

The best stories come from experiences. It doesn’t have to be a huge thing, even just about a walk to the shops or a drive to school. People relate from hearing about what other’s been through and readers thrive learning about the details of other people’s lives.

 

4. Keep a Journal:

As you come up with ideas or concepts, write them down in a journal so you don’t forget. This will give you one space to bring all your ideas together as well as any unfinished project you may want to finish at a later stage.

A gamer? What makes you different from the other thousands of people who are as well.
